When you have items you want to donate, you have many options, from donating to local charities and thrift stores to selling them at a yard sale. The Habitat for Humanity Restore collects unwanted household items and sells them to members of the community to raise money to build affordable homes in Bucks County. There are so many different reasons why you might consider donating to the ReStore.
Avoid the Garage Sale Chaos
Why go through the hassle of collecting all of those unwanted housewares and unused pieces of furniture just to have to lug them all back in at the end of the day? Not to mention that Mother Nature often has her own plans. And at the end of the sale, the remaining items still need to be taken care of. It’s nice to have a few extra bucks in your pocket, but with a quick call to the Habitat ReStore, we can make the clutter vanish without all the extra work a garage sale entails.
When it’s time for spring or fall cleaning, the Habitat for Humanity ReStore can help you out. We have many great ideas to help you declutter, and you can feel good about donating your items to a worthy cause. Spring and fall are both busy donation seasons, so it’s best to get a jump-start on decluttering early to receive our assistance quickly. Check out our decluttering resources to get started today.
Reduce Disposal Expense
We continue to work with more and more large, midsize, and small businesses throughout Bucks County that are catching on to the fact that not only is partnering with Habitat a great way to support the local community; it also reduces their trash expenses. We work with all industries, including manufacturing, retail, corporate, wholesale, and more.
Get Rid of Old Furniture
Just bought new furniture? What do you do with the old couch? That’s no longer a problem; we’ll schedule a fast, free pickup to remove your unwanted furniture (that’s in good condition), making room for your new purchase.
We’ll Join Your Community Event
