This week, Habitat Bucks is celebrating bipartisan leadership on housing affordability.
Yesterday, the U.S. Senate passed the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act with overwhelming bipartisan support. The bill represents a historic opportunity to make meaningful impact to the housing affordability crisis across the country, including our home of Bucks County.
If passed by Congress, it would become the largest, bipartisan housing supply bill in decades.
The ROAD Act includes Habitat’s policy priorities like the HOME Reform Act, a program that helps fund our Homeownership Program, and funding for a national Whole Home Repairs program modeled after successful local initiatives like the Bucks County Home Repair Program (BCHRP).
Voices like yours can help lead the way and affirm that everyone deserves a safe, affordable place to call home.
Contact your local representative to remind them that together, we can create real and lasting change in our community!
