Rosalind has been on a nearly forty-year journey home. During the last 27 years, she lived in subsidized public housing in multiple locations. Along the way she opened her heart to more than 300 foster children and adopted 12. In 2014, Rosalind saw a flyer for Habitat’s Homeownership program at the community center where she worked and she began the final leg of her journey home. She worked hard to improve her credit, started building up savings and purchased her home with an affordable mortgage.
Along with five of her children, Rosalind celebrated the dedication of their new Habitat home in July 2017.Read More
A Habitat Bucks home is a hand-up, not a hand-out. Heather earned the keys to her house by participating in homebuyer education programs and investing over 200 hours of sweat equity building alongside Habitat staff and community volunteers. She purchased her house with an affordable mortgage.Read More

Habitat broke ground for a second home at Watson Avenue, Bristol, on April 30th. Surrounded by local leaders and sponsors, the future homeowner, Muthoni, dug the first shovel-full of dirt! The house will be completed this fall when it becomes “home” for Muthoni and her three sons.Read More
