Volunteers are crucial to the success of Habitat Bucks and are involved in every aspect of the organization. We rely on their dedication and passion for our organization.
Volunteers are needed to help in the ReStore--
Wednesdays- Thursdays - Fridays and Saturdays --
Come help us with the donated items and in merchandising them and organizing them on the sales floor! No experience necessary!

~ VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT ~
THANK YOU DIANNE! Dianne King helps to coordinate the ReStore truck scheduling each week. She is an important part of the donation pick- ups throughout the county and has completed over 500 hours of volunteer service within her first year as a volunteer with Habitat Bucks! Thank you Dianne for all your hard work and dedication to the ReStore and Habitat Bucks.
Volunteers are Key to Habitat Bucks!
Thank you Allen for helping us each week in our Testing Center at the ReStore. Allen tests donated items to make sure they are properly working before being sold to the public.
Current Volunteer Needs
Volunteers are needed for the following positions:
Office Assistant We are looking for volunteers to assist occassionally with office tasks and projects. Good computer skills a must.
ReStore Volunteer
There is always a need at the Habitat Bucks ReStore in Chalfont. Volunteer tasks include unloading deliveries, cleaning and testing donations, stocking merchandise, and assisting customers. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. AM and PM Shifts available Wednesdays thru Saturdays.
Family Support Committee Members The Family Support Committee works to enhance each Habitat family’s experience by providing emotional and informational support and serving as a resource for other services. Members partner with families from the time they are accepted into Habitat Bucks’ homeownership program until they have been living in their home for one year. They meet monthly at the Habitat office in Chalfont to plan workshops and social activities and take an active role in fundraising to cover the costs of these educational and social events. Meetings are scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month at 7 pm.
Speaker's Bureau
The Speaker's Bureau is made up of volunteers who represent Habitat Bucks in the community at churches, events, and other local functions. A two hour training is required - new members are needed.
