In Emerald Hollow, all homes in Cluster 9 are completeand driveways are being topped in April. Cluster 13 is moving forward; two units are nearing completion with two following close behind.
New building initiatives in the works:
- Chestnut Street Perkasie: We will be submitting for building permits in early April; the design and engineering process as been extensive and slow.
- Colonial Avenue in Bristol Township: We received Planning Commission approvals and are now submitting to the Bristol Council for our final approvals.
- Croydon: We have signed an Agreement of Sale for the property and need now to garner community and financial support. This project is now in full land development and should come to fruition some time in late 2009. > Contact Billy at b.dunn@habitatbucks.org or 215.822.2812 x316 to get involved!
- Power House Project in Bristol Borough: This project is still moving forward and hopefully we will have an agreement in the coming months.
- Ashby Avenue in Bristol Township: With the zoning approvals for Colonial Avenue in-hand, we will ramp up efforts to get this project under agreement and move forward.
- Liberator Street in Bristol Township: We have a signed agreement of sale for this property. This will be used as a fill-in project as we need to place site crew and volunteers. Look for this to start late summer or early fall.

In Emerald Hollow, all homes in Cluster 9 are complete! Roofs are installed on Cluster 13 and interior work is proceeding at a break-neck pace. We're striving for completion of two units by the end of March
New building initiatives in the works:
- Chestnut Street Perkasie: Engineered drawings are 90% complete and we should be submitting for building permits by mid-March.
- Colonial Avenue in Bristol Township: We received our zoning variances for the project and appear before the Planning Commission on March 18. We full expect to have all approvals by June and apply for building permits in July 2009

- Power House Project in Bristol Borough: Project Manager Mike Fallon met with the owners of the property this month to re-open talks on partnership opportunities. This project is an adaptive reuse project with the possibility of fantastic green building exposure.
- Ashby Avenue in Bristol Township: With the zoning approvals for Colonial Avenue in-hand, we will ramp up efforts to get this project under agreement and move forward.
- Liberator Street in Bristol Township: We have a verbal agreement to purchase a single home and demolish it to construct a 1000 sq. ft. three-bedroom home. This will be used as a fill-in project as we need to place site crew and volunteers. Look for this to start late summer or early fall.
In Emerald Hollow, Cluster 9, units 40 and 41 are complete and unit 39 is nearing completion. Weather is really hurting our construction schedule on Cluster 13. we are still attempting to get the cluster under roof. Baring any more ice and snow we should have the roofs on by early January.

- Chestnut Street Perkasie: We held several intrest meeting at the property this month and the turnout was outstanding. We are currently applying to the state for our H/C permits and plan review; once the state approves the plan we will submit for building permits. Project Manager Mike Fallon is also setting up our Energy Star meetings with a HEERS rater to get started on the green building path for this project.
- Colonial Avenue in Bristol Township: We will appear in front of Bristol Zoning Hearing board on Feb. 9 to present our new layout four townhomes (from six) and a green open space to buffer the side yards.

- Quakertown Borough: We met with the Borough Manager to discuss a possible partnership with their newly formed economic and development committee, and receive a favorable response. Mike Fallon will sit with their committee to review the process of doing affordable adaptive reuse of existing structures in the borough.
- Ashby Avenue in Bristol Township: This project is on hold until Colonial Avenue progresses through Zoning.
